Claim nowWhen can I claim flight compensation for a cancelled Aeroexpress Regional flight?
To be entitled to Aeroexpress Regional flight compensation, your Aeroexpress Regional flight must have been cancelled fewer than 14 days before departure.
Cancellation notice | Alternative flight | Compensation |
---|---|---|
Fewer than 7 days in advance | Departs 1h+ earlier or arrived 2h+ later | Yes |
7-14 days in advance | Departs 2h+ earlier or arrived 4h+ later | Yes |
Fewer than 14 days in advance | No alternative flight offered | Yes + refund |
The airline must be the party responsible for the cancellation of the flight. More details can be found in the “Extraordinary Circumstances”, further down this page.
Can I get a refund for my cancelled Aeroexpress Regional flight?
You can ask for an Aeroexpress Regional refund if your Aeroexpress Regional flight was cancelled and you did not take an alternative flight offered by the airline.
Note that the airline doesn’t have to provide you with an alternative flight; in this event, you can also ask for a refund of your Aeroexpress Regional plane ticket.
Aeroexpress Regional is offering me a voucher instead of a refund — should I take it?
Accepting a travel voucher instead of an Aeroexpress Regional refund is not recommended. Aeroexpress Regional is required by law to provide you with a choice between a full monetary refund and a voucher.
Accepting a voucher not only obligates you to fly with Aeroexpress Regional in the future, but you might also have issues with getting back your money in the event that the airline declares bankruptcy.

Claim nowExtraordinary circumstances — Can Aeroexpress Regional deny my claim?
According to the British and European air passenger rights regulations, there are certain situations in which the airline can rightfully deny your claim. We call these extraordinary circumstances.
Bad weather conditions, such as thick fog, heavy rain, or thunderstorms.
A strike, most often specifically within the aviation industry (for example, a strike of air traffic control workers at a specific airport).
However, a strike of the airline's crew is not considered an extraordinary circumstance!
Political circumstances, such as a terrorist attack or general security risk due to political unrest.
Natural disasters, including volcanic eruptions and hurricanes.
A collision between the aircraft and birds or other foreign objects.
An ill or unruly passenger.
Flight delays caused by the airport staff, such as extraordinarily long queues to security checks.
However, you should be aware that airlines frequently use extraordinary circumstances as an excuse to deny legitimate claims, particularly when passengers submit claims without the assistance of a legal representative.
We recommend you submit your claim with Flight-Delayed.co.uk if you want to increase your chances of success. We will process your claim quickly, prepare all required documentation, send it to the appropriate people at the airline, and, if necessary, fight for your rights in court.
