Malaysia Airlines website hacked
Monday, January 26, 2015
Malaysia Airline's website was hacked today for a short period of time. Visitors were re-directed to a separate website with a picture of a lizard wearing a tuxedo and the words “404 - Plane not found“.
The suspected perpetrators are a group called Lizard Squad - Official Cyper Caliphate. Meanwhile, the Malaysia Airlines website is available again and visitors are able to book tickets. The airline denies the hack and refers to a temporary glitch. According to a spokesman, the data of travellers has not been compromised. However, Malaysia Airlines has reported the case to the national cyber police.
